Whats new in FAttach ?
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
Version 1.0: 27.06.91
────────────────────────
The very first ONE.
Version 1.01: 30.06.91
────────────────────────
FAttach was cleaned of a few bugs and the performance
was made better.
Version 1.02: 08.07.91
────────────────────────
Bug fixed in multiline usage. FAttach jumps back when it finds
another station is allready using it.
If the mail to FAttach has a tear and/or origin line FAttach
doesn't look for it anymore ;-)
Version 1.03: 12.07.91
────────────────────────
In the logfile the amount of time needed to find the files is
also logged.
This version was only for my betateam.
Version 1.04: 17.07.91
────────────────────────
After the name of the file it is now possible to have more text
in this way orders can be just taken out of a files list.
When defining nodes allowed to use FAttach the zone is no
longer needed, before ist was compulsory.
This version was only for my betateam.
Version 1.05: 19.07.91
────────────────────────
If a file is not found then a statusreport will be made for
the ordering node.
Version 1.10: 31.07.91
────────────────────────
The statusreport is also written when a MAGIC name wasn't found.
For each found file a Msg kann be made with the file description
out of the FILES.BBS.
Whith 2 new Parameters a maximum on files or kb can be defined,
from wich a message text will be sent.
Version 1.11: 12.08.91
────────────────────────
Direct flag added. Subject in return Message text can be defined.
Version 1.12: 16.08.91
────────────────────────
Fixed a little bug/added support for FroDo 2.01 because FM 2.01
now uses 0d hex instead of 0d0a hex as carriage return.
Version 1.20: 30.08.91
────────────────────────
Fixed a bug when using a different configfile than FAttach.ctl.
Speeded up the search routine for new mails, using a file
'fattach.tim' which shows time/date of the last run.
The keyword for the main address has changed from 'Adresse'
to 'Address' and the keyword for the netmail directory has
changed from 'Mail' to 'NetMail'.
Now points as the remote (called) system are able to use
FAttach.
Added support for FroDo's new multi-magic feature which
allows you to define several files with one magic name.
The environment variable FATTACH isn't used anymore. Fattach
now automatically identifies the path it resides in and
searches there for the CTL-file if no CTL-file is specified.
The max. amount of fileareas, unallowed nodes, allowed nodes
and magic names has been increased up to 4096, only limited
by your availible free memory.
But I don't guarantee that this high limit will last forever,
because the next release with many more features will be
written totally in C and I'm still learning C ;-)
